As of last night's talk and today, I can only say so much. I very much like my job writing for IU lol and would like to not turn into Albers(on the outside looking in on most situations). That is why I waited till today to say anything about last night besides a select few pms. I absolutely love this board and respect the mods here, so I will let out the few things I hear every now and then, but I promise it won't be any sources that aren't very close to the situation or that I trust. A week is an eternity in recruiting, especially this close to signing day. A lot could still happen to change his mind, and given how often we seem to be on the wrong side of that thing, that's what I'm fully expecting to happen here. I don't know, it all just seems too good to be true. Maybe we just haven't been this close to landing multiple five stars in one class, maybe we've just been left at the altar one too many times with our biggest targets, or maybe it's just two decades worth of cynicism telling me it just won't happen...because it doesn't. I’m guessing he wouldn’t be the first athlete regardless of sport to do this. Hope the IU tweets aren’t too agressive, but I really want this kid in cream and crimson. Haven’t been on these boards long; only a couple of years. Having 5-star prospects on campus is good for the brand, regardless of whether they commit. Having lots of 5-stars around gives it an air of elitism. lillurk and mdn82 2 Quote
