Losing to northeastern and Loyola(MD) at home were more embarrassing to me then losing to a Rutgers team on a neutral court that beat seton hall this year and lost in OT to Michigan st at the Breslin center. None of them were fun to watch. For me nothing would of changed if we won those 3 games you mentioned. IU would of been a 19-12 mediocre team instead of a 16-15 mediocre team that had very noticeable flaws and holes. IU would of still not beaten a tournament quality team all year (i guess u could say Notre Dame) and would of been no where near the bubble

But at least we would of made the NIT for sure. Yes I know it's the NIT nothing to brag about, but would of given us more experience.

Already visited. And if he wasn’t gonna go, wouldn’t he have eliminated them from contention by now? Goes both ways.

Curious as to why Etherington would know, and why would Tim Langford say the things he did if they really were undecided. Doesn't make sense to me. No mention has been made of this on Peegs, or on any Kansas fan board, wouldn't worry too much.

Yea why the heck would ethrington know anything about our current program. Didn't he transfer after his freshman year? Sure hope archie isn't keeping dudes like that in his loop

He transferred after Sophomore year I believe, don't know why Archie would give any info to a former player, who didn't even play for Archie and has really nothing to do with him. Only reason I can think of is Ed Schilling, but I don't think they're close. Could be wrong though.

Until Archie pops a big recruit I'm going to blame Indiana for our recruiting failures. We have so much more to offer than so many of the podunk schools landing bigger fish. I'm convinced Crean was held back as well.

 

Can't get excited about recruiting at Indiana in today's day and age.

Could Archie have already been told Romeo isn’t picking IU and was asked to please not say something so he doesn’t get flak from the fans before his season is over? If Archie doesn’t visit tomorrow night than that option is highly likely. No way Archie would be more focused on 2019 recruits vs 2018 recruits right now if he didn’t know something.

Then his father wasn’t being honest in interviews. There is no way the Langfords talk of making another visit to IU if Romeo has already eliminated us.

After the Garland recruitment I trust no response from a family member. Only trust the things you can see happening. Like Archie not going to see him in quite a while. Probably very telling.
