Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Luke Winn conducted an efficiency analysis of Indiana before and after the loss of Blackmon. The effects in Indiana's offensive and defensive efficiency aren't surprising, but the net impact certainly makes you wonder what is driving the improved play since Blackmon's injury. @lukewinn: In Power Ranx, I ran adjusted splits for Indiana with & w/o Blackmon. Adjusted efficiency takes into account the opponent it came against. Its kind of even more telling that our adjusted offensive efficiency has been better with Blackmon than without when you consider the games they've been absolutely unconscious from three have come without him. LockdownD Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 How do you measure this? Curious I value team defense. Teams that disrupt the opponent's offensive scheme and can get stops, increase the chances of defeating the opponent. Just my opinion, Boot. ALASKA HOOSIER and Walking Boot of Doom 2 Quote
