I was very disappointed with the atmosphere yesterday.  I think the student section should be behind both goals and along one whole sideline.  Pissed me off to see those seats sucked up by people who sit on their hands the whole damn game!                                   VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Remember when the students used to cheer "stand up old people". Old folks may have sat but they were there. You can be louder sitting and cheering than by not being there.

I think an argument can be made that the students should get a sideline, but it will NEVER happen if they keep leaving blocks of seats empty. That's...not how you bargain.

The only difference would be the school making money from booze being drank at the games.  I'm not sure I ever went into a game without alcohol.  The miniature Gatorade bottles are great and about the right mixture for Captain and the size of Sprite they sell.  Tuck one bottle full into each sock...

It was awesome. Giant blocks of empties against teams like Illinois and Minnesota is the issue.

Agree games against top 5 opponents are never the issue. I think every home game should have that same atmosphere.
