A debate is a discussion/argument on a single topic, frequently taking place in a public forum with multiple people giving input, with such synonyms as "hash out". So, by definition, a group of three people on a message board, discussing opposing viewpoints on whether students will show up for a game is a debate.

Ok, guys. This is it. To me, this is the most important game of the year. To me, this is the national title. Some may know, I live and work in Madison Wi. Although I love my city, I hate the Badgers with all the passion in the world. True unadulterated hate. Please get back on track against these $!#! $-". When I was a kid, it was unthinkable...and I mean truly unthinkable, for Indiana to lose to Wisconsin. Never. Not once ever. Get it back tonight. Play like the Champions you are.
