Arizona? Don’t you think a “current blueblood” should at least make a final 4 to be considered a current blue blood

Maybe a "recruiting" blueblood with UCLA nearby.

Although I'd think arizona will take a stepback until the FBI turns their eyes away.

Beat me to it. I was hoping he would go to Wake so I could read Iwhini fans going nuts on Illinois loyalty.

Dosunmu is to Illinois as Langford is to Indiana.

Before Dosunmu, Illinois had missed out on 13 straight 5 stars from the state of Illinois between 2003-2017. I would say they were due. Illinois needed Dosunmu more then IU needs Romeo. Just my opinion

Don't disagree the need is different. Still a statement in state recruit from a new coach. 5 star, best player. It could prove to be a launching point for what I consider to be a dirty recruiter. No one seems too worried about this FBI probe huh? Lol.

Definitely a statement recruit for a new coach. Underwood first battle for an in state 5 star recruit consisted of battling Manning, Mack, Enfield, Weir, Boynton and Illinois fans will point out Self since he offered late(Kansas insiders said it was for a back up to grimes, Romeo, or Dotson)
Archie’s first In state 5 star recruit, he gets to battle with Roy, K(they were still in picture when CAM started), Self, Drew, Alford, Pitino
But this is how it should be, IU battling UCLA, Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, and Louisville for the states best prospects and Illinois battling Wake, Xavier, USC, New Mexico and Oklahoma st.

So the '18 Illinois backcourt will be a soph Mark Smith and a frosh Dosunmu coached by one of the absolute elite offensive minds college basketball. Not a single good thing about that.

His defensive mind.  KenPom 154 last year to go with his 1 KenPom offense.

IU’s defense was 104 last year
