Defensively it is hard to say by watching them tonight but Curtis may have a slight edge. Traffic cones have a slight edge on JBJ in regards to defense. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 End of the first half in the Derby Classic and per a Rabjohns tweet: "Curtis Jones with a really nice first half. Team-high 16 points for Maroon squad. Finished with a Eurostep from the right wing." maxwell and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Jeff Rabjohns @JeffRabjohns Curtis Jones has it rolling. 21 of his team's 77 points. Showed his hops throwing down alley oop off backboard from CJ Walker. NOTE: He was not a starter in this game. maxwell, Hoosiers219 and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote

This past season we really didn't have that from the guard spot. Just imagining having JBJ and CuJo get buckets while RoJo distributes more but becomes a knockdown shooter and JN getting everyone involved has me giddy for next season. We should have a better overall backcourt although Yogi will be difficult to replace. Over/under 10.5 ppg for CuJo as a frosh? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 If it's over we are going to be very good. Agree, teams will really have to decide what they want to take away though. Having TB or DD on the floor with the second unit is going to keep defenses honest allowing players like CuJo to do their thing on offense. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 This is the most talent overall that Crean will have on a team at IU. The Zeller & Oladipo group were more star studded, but this group is deeper 1-13. If we do replace Priller & Troy comes back its even more talent. Gonna be hard to keep everyone happy if your Crean next year. Quote

He could surprise me but after watching him tonight I would be very surprised to see him average double digits. He was getting to the basket pretty easy tonight. A lot of easy fast break points.
