Hoosier Roots Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I didn't get to see as much of the game as I would have liked but from what I did see and from looking at the stat line this kid looks like a dog. So how will he perform during the rest of non conference and into conference play? Quote
IU Hoosier41 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 He'll tear it up similar to what Tevin did. Solid running back who is tough to bring down by first defender running behind a pretty damn good run blocking line = a lot of highlights for him. Which is awesome for us, 2 straight NFL draft picks at RB will help us tremendously in recruiting. WayneFleekHoosier, Hoosier Roots, Napleshoosier and 3 others 6 Quote
HoosierReb01 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Small sample yesterday, but I didn't see the same level of afterburner that Tevin had. No complaints though, he's going to do some serious running for us. Quote
Naturalhoosier Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 A ton of yards after contact. As mentioned above he was dragging players all over. The 1-2 punch of him and Redding rank in the top tier of the conference. IU Hoosier41, Crimson and Cream, Hoosierfan2017 and 1 other 4 Quote

Popular Post IndyHutch Posted September 6, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 6, 2015 We're not going to see the 60, 70 and 80 yards run that we saw a year ago but he still has good speed. But he's a powerful runner. IU has great offensive balance now. Now if the defense can just hold someone to 28 points or less, this team has a chance. Gives the D a extra minute or two on the bench. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote
Miller'sTheMan Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 He's not as fast as Coleman, but he's a much more powerful runner. Seems like he drags a defender 4-5 yards after first contact nearly every run and Redding's speed makes him a nice change of pace back. Our offense will be really balanced this year. Popular Post HoosierReb01 Posted September 6, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 6, 2015 Fixed that for you. Well, I'll stick to my version at the moment. Yesterday was ugly, but they have their opportunities to right the ship. No sense going totally negative on them over yesterday. Being negative all the time just takes the joy out of life. Another effort or two like that though...... thebigweave, Crimson and Cream, Naturalhoosier and 6 others 9 Quote
Miller'sTheMan Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Fixed that for you. Give them time, they may look better next week against a better opponent. I know getting Scales, Latham, Dutra, and Green back will help a lot. If they still look like swiss cheese next week then we can panic. Bobman1, IndyHutch, HoosierReb01 and 1 other 4 Quote
Dennis Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Slow down a little - we don't know how long those suspensions are for. Has anyone heard if they will get to play next week yet? Quote
IndyHutch Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Slow down a little - we don't know how long those suspensions are for. Has anyone heard if they will get to play next week yet? Wilson wasn't definitive on that topic in his postgame press conference on Saturday. Here is what he said when he was asked that question: "I don't know, we may have some (more) between now and then. Somebody is college football is doing something stupid tonight, I can guarantee it. Hopefully it's not 47408 but that's the world we live in. Eighty percent of Americans, 80 percent of college kids, 80 percent of college athletes drink. That's why we talk to our guys about lifestyle and how to give up some things and how to be a great team to recover. We'll see. I promise you, were going to put 11 out and play hard and not give up like those guys did today. If there was a problem, the team would have folded. There's not a problem. The team has to play better.'' IUsafety, HoosierReb01, Bobman1 and 3 others 6 Quote
