Best high school team I ever watched was the Greg Oden/Mike Conley team. Conley was the quickest player I ever saw at the high school level.

Matt Painter was a high school team mate of mine so had to play him a lot in practice.  He was a hell of a player in high school.  Quick Vic and Chandler Thompson from Muncie Central.  I was a freshman in high school down on vacation at Vero Beach, FL with a friend playing on the hotel basketball court.  This old timer came up to us and ask if we wanted to play some 21.  We said sure then he proceeded to whop us with this baby hook shot that he couldn't miss and we couldn't stop. He said that his name was Jack Wright and he was a member of the 1952 Hoosiers' national championship team.
