YOGI--You Stayed! Now Lead Us To Glory!

This team is more talented, but I don't think they're necessarily better. The 2012-2013 team had lots and lots of experience.

This team will have a ton of experience:

Yogi, Nick Z, Hanner as seniors

Troy, Colinn as juniors

JB2, Rojo as sophs with a lot of game experience

Very true, but comparatively, the 2012-2013 team had 4 seniors starting and 4 1,000 point career players who had been to the Sweet Sixteen the previous year. That's unreal.

Starters for the 12-13 team: One freshman (YF), two seniors (CW, JH), one junior (VO), one soph (CZ).

Likely starters for this team: One freshman (TB), two seniors (YF, HP), one junior (TW), one soph (JB).

What the hell was I thinking 4 senior starters. Jeeze my brain is slow after a fun weekend.

I see what you're saying. If we're comparing...

Senior Yogi > Freshman Yogi
Sophomore JBJ > Senior Hulls
Junior Troy < Junior Oladipo
Freshman Bryant < Sophomore Cody
Senior Hanner < Senior Watford

I think this team is more talented, especially if you start comparing the bench, but the 2012-2013 team was special. They had made a run together, minus Yogi, and were preseason number one.

It's gonna be a fun season.

More talent. No doubt about it.

Better team? That is a completely different question.

Look up Wisconsin vs Kentucky 2015 for an example of the difference.

So you think there are two lottery picks on the 15-16 Hoosiers?

Everyone has a chance

Not true. The past two years the Hoosiers had NO chance (uinless you felt the need to post in a condescending, literal manner, that's just not true).

The top 15 or so teams have a legit chance at winning the whole thing.

If CTC and the players buy in defensively, there is no question we have plenty in the tank to be one of those teams.

You think the team we have now is more talented?!?

Then you should be expecting championship caliber

Senior Yogi>>>> freshman Yogi
Sophomore JBJ (barring him leaving) slightly> senior Hulls
Junior Vic >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> sophomore Rojo
Junior Troy >>>> senior Wat
Sophomore Cody>> freshman TB.

Benches are probably a push.

Based on pure talent, yeah with Yogi and JBJ coming back you can make an argument this team is more talented. Better, yet to be seen

Benches are not a push.

Next year's bench will be much better and deeper, especially since Derek Elston's knees were dragging him down at the end of that season,
