The 2015 NCAA Tournament Thread

Recommended Posts

this article is really neat gives some cool facts about the games last night....some nail biters!

heres some crazy stats from the article, ill post the link below

  • Eleven games were decided by fewer than 10 points Thursday, tying the single-day NCAA tournament high. Only three tournament days in history matched that number, the last of which came in 2010.

  • Nine games were decided by five or fewer points, tying the single-day tournament high -- one dating to March 15, 2001.
  • Including the five Thursday, as well as Dayton's win over Boise State on Wednesday night, there have been six games decided by one point thus far in the 2015 NCAA tournament. The record for most games decided by one point in a single NCAA tournament is seven -- total. That has happened three times (in 1982, 1990, and 1998).

Should've known not to bet on Purdue

Hammons had a nice game but what was he thinking on the drive to the basket which tied the game at the end of regulation? I know he has to be concerned about the kickout, but he moved to his left on the drive opening up a path to the basket. The guy was driving right to the area where he was standing and he moves to the left.

Yesterday was exhausting. Ready for day 2 tho. :drinks:

It's embarrassing how tired I was when I finally went to bed yesterday. Literally all I did was watch basketball.
