looked to me like it was above the rim still and I dont think its possible from the camera angles shown to tell if it was going to hit or not. Just my opinion

Question about the SMU goaltending call. I looked the rule up and part of the rule clearly states "entirely above the rim and has the possibility of entering the basket". This shot clearly had no chance of going in. So why was it called.

It's a judgment call. The ref that called it might have had an angle where it looked like it would go in. I honestly think that should be reviewable.
