I want the uk matchup as well. Give us a chance to defend our undefeated season plus the writing is on the wall that we are not going far. We would not be gambling much if we lose ok that stinks but was expected not like getting swept by pu but if we win? The biggest party of all would be in order and it would be a huge win for crean and iu. I know it would never happen but its worth the chance to me lol

I'm sure it's probably just me but if we end up at a 8 or 9 seed I hope it's in UK's bracket. IU vs UK in the Yum! That place would be electric! And if we have one of those 17-18 made 3 pointer games you never know. All the pressure would be on the Cats. Especially if they're undefeated. Payback for 75. Yogi with the game winner! Yeah, as much as I hate saying it, UK would dominate us. I really don't think we would have any chance stopping them on the inside. They have 6 players that are 6'8 or taller and get minutes, and 4 of those are 6'10 and up. Realistically, Cal could throw out a lineup with 3 of those players on the court. We have Hanner and Holt to stop them. I'm not liking our chances

I'm with him. If we already don't expect to go far in the tourney, then what does it matter? Grow a sack, pull out the flame throwers, and go out droppin as many Jordy Bombs as you can. When they still hand it to us, then tip your caps and at least be beat by the best team in the country.

Id rather lose to the absolute best team in the country than get beat by another team that is really not as good but was just "a bad match up."

Idk. I would rather not get embarrassed by our most hated rival and have their fans laugh at us for fading even more into obscurity. We have the ability to make a run (albeit that would depend on a lot of factors). I can see both sides, but I have to disagree with that line of thinking.

They make everyone look bad. We'd just jump in line. Even the teams they beat in OT, they make them look like an elementary team in the closing minutes. I know what you're saying and can see why you'd take that side, I hate being embarrassed in any situation, but I'm on the **** it side of this one.

Not surprising we didn't receive a single vote.  The team really needs to lock in on defense over the final stretch.  I want to see some hope of us stringing together multiple stops.  Also, I think if we can put together something resembling a defense that we will scare a lot of teams in both tourneys.

Well I want my Hoosiers to be one of the teams that makes them miserable. I want the chance to beat them. If they can't do it, they can't do it. All of the analyst keep saying a team that's going to beat them is a team that can shoot the basketball with the best of them. Nobody matches up with their size, that's not how you're going to beat them, so who cares that we are small and they'll probably kill us inside. I just don't, and won't, understand why people don't want their own crack at the best.

exactly. This is my stance as well. Don't get me wrong, if we had any size inside my tune might change, but as it stands right now we don't.
