ccgeneral Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Looks like he visited again yesterday with a few others. http://hoosierhuddle.com/hoosier-blog/seven-prospects-visit-bloomington-this-weekend/2015/3/29 Peyton Ramsey, Quarterback, Cincinnati, OH, 247 Sports Composite Ranking: 3-Star The Hoosiers are actively looking for the guy that is going to have to replace Nate Sudfeld when he exhausts his eligibility at the end of this season. Ramsey is a potential candidate for that honor. He is a 6-3 pro-style quarterback who is ranked as the 22nd best prospect in the state of Ohio and the 31st best pro-style quarterback in the nation. Ramsey has great size to play in the Big Ten as well as the arm strength to make all the throws. His best attribute maybe his lightning quick release. In addition to IU, Ramsey has offers from ACC members Boston College and Wake Forest as well as his hometown Cincinnati and Big Ten Rival Illinois. Ramsey also holds offers from MAC schools Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, and Miami (OH). HoosierReb01, ThompsonHoosier and IUsafety 3 Quote

ccgeneral Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 http://indiana.scout.com/story/1537889-hoosiers-in-running-for-peyton-ramsey?s=170 As for when Ramsey will end his recruitment, look for a decision to be made soon. “If you would have asked me at the beginning of the month, I would have told you I would be committed by now,” he said. “Right now I do want to be committed by the end of April. I’m not looking for anything else to pop up, but to just give it a little more time and then have a decision in the next couple of weeks.” Quote

Crimson and Cream Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Hope Austin isn't offended, surely he didn't expect to be the only QB at IU during his career. Doesn't mean he can't start and have a successful career. Nothing wrong with some competition to keep you humble and hungry. cchoneycut 1 Quote

Hurryin' Hoosiers Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I doubt King's tweet was related. It's not like we brought in some stud (at least on paper) that would make King feel he has no chance of starting now. King was more highly ranked and had better offers anyway I believe Glad to have Ramsey on board though. Need multiple good QBs. PointBlank and HoosierReb01 2 Quote

Now, we have to make sure they are ready to take the reigns if there is an injury. Hopefully, Wilson learned a valuable lesson from last year. Quote
HoosierReb01 Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 I like this pickup. Lead us down the recruiting trail like and onto the field. Naturalhoosier 1 Quote
