Looks like he visited again yesterday with a few others.

Peyton Ramsey, Quarterback, Cincinnati, OH, 247 Sports Composite Ranking: 3-Star

The Hoosiers are actively looking for the guy that is going to have to replace Nate Sudfeld when he exhausts his eligibility at the end of this season. Ramsey is a potential candidate for that honor. He is a 6-3 pro-style quarterback who is ranked as the 22nd best prospect in the state of Ohio and the 31st best pro-style quarterback in the nation. Ramsey has great size to play in the Big Ten as well as the arm strength to make all the throws. His best attribute maybe his lightning quick release. In addition to IU, Ramsey has offers from ACC members Boston College and Wake Forest as well as his hometown Cincinnati and Big Ten Rival Illinois. Ramsey also holds offers from MAC schools Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, and Miami (OH).

As for when Ramsey will end his recruitment, look for a decision to be made soon.

“If you would have asked me at the beginning of the month, I would have told you I would be committed by now,” he said. “Right now I do want to be committed by the end of April. I’m not looking for anything else to pop up, but to just give it a little more time and then have a decision in the next couple of weeks.”

I doubt King's tweet was related.

It's not like we brought in some stud (at least on paper) that would make King feel he has no chance of starting now.     King was more highly ranked and had better offers anyway I believe

Glad to have Ramsey on board though.  Need multiple good QBs.

I could not agree more, and Ramsey is a very good one. Now, we have to make sure they are ready to take the reigns if  there is an injury. Hopefully, Wilson learned a valuable lesson from last year.
