Ugh

@JeffRabjohns: There were a bunch of NBA scouts at the Indiana-Maryland game tonight. Yogi Ferrell, obviously, impressed. #iubb

And now I'm really sick.. Yogi deserves it all for sure. I'm I just wanted to get this kid a deep run at least before he departed. Hoosier hero

This team can give him that deep run. This team can outrun a lot of tourney teams and when they are firing... Look out. Anything can happen in march man. Haven't seen a road game like this since @ UM in 12-13. Could be peaking.

I hope that in every game in March our guys use this loss as motivation. I see this as one of those games to help us be battle tested.

Also, I can't be mad at Crean. What he's been able to do with this team is crazy. We're looking at a top 4 Big Ten finish for a team that was projected 10th in preseason and that looked dead to rights after the game against E*****n W********n. He coached one heck of a game. Called all his timeouts, including the crucial one when we went down 57-51.

This team is doing great. I think we could do some real damage come March.

Top 4 ? You need to look at the loss column

I agree and sure hope so. Might be a tad early to be peaking.if you are saying we look to be in that upswing then I definitely agree. I like the team gritting out the home win against Rutgers shooting hot and I like what I saw tonight... Perea showing his worth??

Yeah I meant on the upswing. Even in a loss what confidence this can give the guys. We saw yogis determination. Gotta get everyone on board like that.

Going for 3 on the road was probably the better play but that picture does hurt.

I never understood that philosophy. I understand wanting to get out of a hostile environment, but if you have a solid chance at extending the game and eventually getting the win, why not go for it? I don't know, I'd rather take a good look from 2 for a 50/50 shot in overtime as opposed to a 50/50 shot at winning or losing on one shot.

I won't harp on any one player's misses. There were tons of missed opportunities. Its easy to single out certain things like Hartman's missed layup or JBJ's poor shooting or Troy's missed dunks.

Stan made some bone head plays and didn't do half bad defense. Hanner showed glimmers of hope, I think his injury really set him back. Yogi is the man, I am going to miss him next year if he does as I suspect he will. Rojo is pretty clutch IMO and he may have shot pretty poorly but I thought he was solid elsewhere.

Where... was .... holt?

If anyone blames this on Crean, you're delusional haha

Buckner was a true old-school PG. Not a scorer like Isiah, but a leader, RMK's QB. It was like he channeled Knight's mind on the court.

.Bobby Wilkerson was kind of a point forward that could shut down any player you put him on.Coach Knight said once he was the most valuable player he ever had.Knight loved his defense.

yeah...I think Crean had em ready to play...

but I am curious as well...as to why Holt didn't get minutes...

it doesn't really matter...this is a guard's team...

they live and die by the guards.
