AP/Coaches Poll for 12/29

Recommended Posts

The second season starts Wednesday at Nebraska. It would be great to start out with a road win. I really like this team. Really fun group to watch and support. They're capable of doing some damage in the B1G and that will get us in the post season. We are what we are, so we need to play to our strengths and find those open shooters.

Yea, win this thing tomorrow and we are REALLY on the cusp. I agree, we are no where near the push over we were last season. Average offensive game tomorrow mixed with our average defense but improved rebounding and this game is ours.

I only half way care if we are ranked for the sake of bragging to my buddies but IU NEEDS to be ranked if we are going to pick up heat again on the recruiting front. We can't continue to be outside of the top 25 and expect to land burger boys. All we will get is the Hoosier faithful that grew up in the stat.

Possible but if Georgetown gets to grab a ranking by beating us then I estimate with two straight road wins and already receiving votes beforehand will do it at 25. Could be wrong but we will see.

I only say that because the new poll wont come out till the following Monday after both of the games. If we beat Michigan state we would prob b ranked but if we then lose at home on sat to ohio st we wont b
