I love seeing Collin do well.  I think I can speak for all of us when I say I didn't think his production level would be near this high shortly after the ACL tear.  Someone reported (or maybe he said in an interview) that Tim Buckley has been working constantly with him on his shot.  The players call Coach Buckley the "Shot Doctor".  Keep it up Collin!

I can say that during the Derby Classic, I told my buddy that I liked him more than Davis ( no offense). I was bumed when it didn't translate to the court last yr.

...Hartman is who I thought he was though.....A good, strong player....not elite, buit dependable.

I thought at the time of his ACL tear that was the worst thing for him. I believe he likely would have transferred if healthy and back then I thought that would be best.

Now after the tear not only did he come back early he came back as a classic role player guy. Much like guys of IU yesteryear (Eyl, Sloan etc.).

His highlights didn't show much of an athlete, and he's not a good "athlete" but he is a smart "basketball player".  People ooh and ahh over players that can jump.

My brother knows the coach at ,I want to say Ballard or whoever the #1 ranked team in Ky was Hartman's senior year when Cathedral played and beat them.He said that Cathedral would have been the #1 team in Ky and that Hartman would have been Mr Basketball.

While this shows the disparity between the two states as far as prep talent goes I think it also shows Collin was highly thought of.

The kids been injured a lot and that really dropped his rating but he's a very good, smart basketball player and the most fundamental on our team.

Go Collin- Go Hoosiers!!!

Hartman is a throw-back IU player that does the little things and uses every minute to its fullest when he's on the court.

He has to be the biggest surprise this season for IU basketball.

I can already think of a couple of games we probably would not have won without his contributions!

So glad he's a HOOSIER!

Who woulda thunk that our season would be saved by Collinn Hartman and a freshman big that we found in August.

Yogi and JBJ are the real reason. Hartman and Emmitt have helped but they haven't "saved" the season. Maybe for some of the IU fans that were on the ledge

Strongly disagree.

Yogi has been our best player, as we expected.
JBJ has been excellent, albeit inconsistent and no marvel on defense, as we expected.

However, when Devin went down, we had next to nothing left 6'7" or more on the roster after Troy and Hanner.
20 great minutes a game from Collinn and ten good minutes a game from Emmitt saved this year from being a very sad one so far.
