Still to sloppy,  mental mistakes.. Why did Blackmon shoot the ball with 25 sec left in game.  Why did Zeisloft foul without the clock turned on??  So  many mistakes.  I can not believe Butler (was) in the top 25.    Good  Win  Go  HOOSIERS

I actually think we might not be half bad this year, we ran with Louisville and beat Butler, we didn't show up against EW but who cares. It's one bad loss, Michigan has had 4

Hard to fault the effort today by everyone down the line. There were very few moments Butler outplayed us. We did beat ourselves through a few struggling minutes, which is going to happen with young players in December.

 

Hanner appears to be coming into his own, just in time. Even Hoetzel's minutes were mostly productive and I did not see him get left in his tracks defensively at all.

 

I truly believe the Eastern Washington game was a wake-up call that we answered. And the Louisville game was a learning experience that we truly learned from.

 

Blackmon still needs to let the game come to him a little more. And Holt's foul that resulted in 3 shots might be the ultimate bonehead foul I've ever seen (he got suckered into it so hopefully it's a learning experience).

 

Whether Butler is really a Top 25 team is up for debate. It will certainly fall from the rankings after this loss, and KenPom had Butler at #35 when the day started. But the impressive win over North Carolina looks more impressive after Ohio State got shellacked in Chapel Hill today.

 

I am cautiously optimistic we might actually make some noise in the B1G. To make the day perfect, Purdue was at its worst too.

I would love to agree that it is the players fault but I am unable to this has been a recurring problem with crean teams we simply have problems getting the ball in bounds in pressure situations and that falls on coach. If it was just this once then I would agree but it is a problem that needs fixed now.
