Hanner was better...way better...tonight than he's been all year offensively, but his rebounding and positioning is soooooooo far behind. For some reason, he hasn't bought into the fact that it's necessary he blocks out.

I'm over Troy and Stan. I'm sorry, but if you take bad shots, turn the ball over, and play terrible help side defense (that's Troy) then it's not worth having you in the game.

What was the deal with Hoetzel over Hartman in the 2nd half?

Where was NZ the 2nd half?

Why did RoJo get pulled and lectured over a TO with 4 minutes left when Stan and Troy did it the whole game and continued to play?

I'm all for supporting our team, and I want Crean to succeed, but the subbing patterns nearly send me to the grave. I know, broken record...

Blah blah, JBJ can play, blah blah, Hanner was good, blah blah Yogi was solid .. Truth is this IU team will struggle all year with any team that boards well, even bad teams with bigs. They improved today and yea shooting 70% from deep in the first half helps. We are playing with a pg and 3 2 guards most of every game and if we don't take care of the ball it's gonna be ugly. But take the positives. We came out in the second and competed to get back in it. I still this team can be a top 5 team in the B10 with what I've seen from the rest of the conference. Tourney team? Who knows. But id rather watch IU hoops than anything else!

Hanner seems to be progressing on offense nicely. Defensively, he's better, however, still not good.

Stan should never see the court right now and it seemed foolish for Crean to continue playing him tonight.

We are exactly who I thought we were. Our defense is atrocious on the perimeter. We let ppl drive by, have terrible defensive rotation, don't get bodies on guys when the ball goes up, don't keep our hands up in the zone,etc...Our size hurts us, but there's no excuse for that many offensive rebounds. Many of those were due to awful positioning.

On the flip side, our offense is exciting and generally potent, with excellent slashing, spacing, and movement most of the time. If we can't hit shots, as the previous poster said, our defense will not keep us in games against good teams.

I'm still expecting a 18-20 win season and being a bubble team come March after this performance.

Also, what a jam by JBJ on Harrell. LOVED IT, and that better be a top 10 on espn. I'm glad he didn't, but was secretly hoping he would taunt Harrell. Wifey even said she was glad he didn't taunt back. Even she knows the Hoosier way lol.

funny thing is JB2 always poses/taunts after dunks. Harrell a bit intimidating haha.

I definitely didn't see that as a 20 point loss. It was pretty close all game. If we compete like that the rest of the season, I still say we can play with ANYONE in the big ten. Especially after seeing a media favorite in Michigan get beat by back to back cupcakes

Overall I thought it was a great performance.. Louisville did what they do best and wore us down at the end. Build on this.

My first thought was transfer, sit out until January of next year. He isn't playing much, teammates are choppy with him, he's been in trouble...
