McCarthy called me out on 247 for telling my buddy I'm over watching Troy. (I'm not on 247, I just saw him post it.)

But I just about AM over watching Troy. Plays out of control and rarely passes. Beyond annoying.

Anyways.....Emmitt.

Hova...OUT.

We can flat shoot the rock. If we even give half a defensive effort, we are gonna bang some heads in conference.

Holt baby.. holt.. all day. This dude is exactly what this team was missing. Time to show out for your home crowd now Emmit!

Wasn't able to watch the game. I did check out the box score. Looks like everybody (14 guys) was able to get in...which is good cause those opportunities won't be there in the near future.

A couple questions:

1. How did Max look? His stat line doesn't look that great, but I notice he logged more time than Emmitt and the same amount as Hartman.

2. How did Stan look? Looks like he was able to find the open guy tonight with 5 assists.

1)  Absolutely awful. Calling his effort shadow defense would be a complement.

2)  Much, much better. Passing well opened up the drive game for him. He will play, and he will help.

My thoughts ......

JB2 played great and didn't force. Smooth tonight.
RoJo solid.
Yogi played as expected but he started to force in 2nd half to 'get his'. He played a much better game in 1st half.
Hanner decent on O end, still no clue on D end.
Prillers post D is the worst I've seen in D1, no exaggeration. Huge heart but NO CLUE.
Emmitt is just good. I'm shocked on his feel for the game. Knocking down FTs too.
Hartman continues to do his thing. I'm still worried that the ultra athletes will give him fits.
Need to find a way to get Zman 4-5 three point attempts a game.
Hoetzel is forcing, trying to prove himself. Bad game from him. Crean was pissed at him on that end play. Shook head, followed by big Diet Coke swig.
Troys Oop from JB2 was Beautiful. Troy is our X factor. Need him to cut down his BAD plays.
I don't know about Stan. He's got the game to really help us if he plays within the system. Better tonight but not where we need him.

Yes, Savannah State blows.

Troy is an insane athlete that is good around the basket cleaning up junk and that is about it. Hard to believe anybody see's NBA there.

Max looked a lot like Troy did, playing wise last night.Totally out of control and selfish.

Coach must see something in practice that we don't.Emmitt is the real deal and even April showed flashes. That was a great pass to troy for the score. He seems to have a pretty good feel for the game. Our perimeter defense needs to tighten up a lot. There was no reason at all for a man on that team to be wide open for threes. They had zero post threats.

Good game, started slow which was to be expected. I was thrilled that they pressed us, the team needed that. We have a lot of work to do, or it will get ugly. Yogi needs the ball in his hands for most of the LVille game.

Holt looked good still, which is huge. Him and Hartman just always seem to find the ball. We need those guys with the rebounding struggles of the team.

NZ is a huge asset on the bench. Honestly, our bench is a lot better than expected. Being able to have Holt, Hartman, NZ, and Stan coming off the bench is great. We need that.

I will get the MVP thread up later today :)

Everything went very well. Troy and Stan were a little out of control, but I thought it was a lot better than the Pitt game.
