IU will definitely get beat by Rutgers

Recommended Posts

I can't even see that far. I'm more concerned with Pitt and whether Louisville will beat us by 40+. On a positive note, maybe this could be a tryout for Dixon. Lord knows his name has come up the last 3 times on this carousel called Indiana head coach. He couldn't be worse.

Couldn;t be worse, but our Sh*tty team 4 years ago beat his bunch of scrubs into the dirt

Dixon might not be worse, but I am not sold he would be better. People complain about Crean's tournament flameouts, his are just bad if not worse.

When we make a move we have to get a better guy, not an equal guy. If we don't, we set this thing back even farther.

I've read enough of your posts to know you get that. I just would hate to see people latch onto a guy like Dixon to save us. When we move we have to upgrade, not just trade in.

I think they play the same putting green.

Certainly Dixon would not be my choice of replacements, but I'd be willing to say our program would be in much better shape 7 years into his tenure than our current state. Probably splitting hairs though, and I would hope we have either a higher pedigree of coach coming or an up and comer like Miller at Dayton or Marshall. Dixon would not be the answer.

Vandy and any team outside the Top 3-4 in the SEC is horrendous. I'm not too worried about Rutgers.

Vandy is really about like Indiana....but with a much stronger post presence in Damian Jones and Luke Kornet

that would be a good game

IU is about 10th or 11th best in the B1G and Vandy is about 8th or 9th best in the SEC. Very very very similar teams that will be sitting at home during the NCAA Tournament

Dixon would never come here...He is a top 15-20 coach in the nation and he is not moving here. IU is only a step up in terms of tradition, nothing more.
