Anunoby and Morgan

A lot better than Hartman

Interesting, he seems like he would be a really good fit to come in and start if we don't get Bryant. Obviously we would still be undersized with him being 6'8 but he can spread the floor and is a better post defender than Hartman and probably a better rebounder due to his superior athleticism alone. Honestly I wouldn't feel too bad with Morgan starting.

Maybe Emmitt will put those open growth plates to work and get to 6'9-6'10. Game. Changed.

In all seriousness though, even without a growth spurt, he could have a massive offseason and come back ready to own the five. The kid really has a good head on his shoulders and looks like he just needs time to develop a little. I'm excited for junior/senior Enmitt.

Don't know if its been discussed before but I was tooling around last night and came upon who I think is OG's brother ,Chigbo Anunoby.

Anyway this guy is on the Minnesota Vikings roster as a defensive tackle and has bounced around the NFL including the colts.

6'4'' 324 lb.OG'S dad is a big dude so I wouldn't be surprised a bit to see this guy put on some serious mass.Might end up being the 5 we're all clamoring for along with the luxury of an outside game.

I'm trying to temper my expectations with these dudes as I was convinced Priller would have a useful but small role this year but these 2 cats give us some size that this team could really use at this point. A 6'8 guy who could still be growing ripping 3's?? I sense matchup issues. That is a 5 in Crean's system.

I think it's safe to say these guys are on a different planet than Priller. It's probably safe to be excited about these guys as long term guys.

I would say both of these guys are a lot more highly touted than Priller.

Plus Emmitt didn't get much practice time this summer. I think he's done a great job for just running right into our program near the start of the season. A good productive offseason will do wonders for a guy like him.

With as good as holy might be in the future, getting a solid PG soon to learn under yogi is key

I think that's what Crean sees too. Bryant, or Maker I guess, would just be a pleasant surprise at this point. The frontcourt may not be set up how fans want, but minus the injuries this would almost be Crean's favorite type of group. A bunch of athletic 6'7-6'9 guys that can run and rebound. Holt is going to be a monster after a summer in Bloom. Hopefully Devin can come back and play at a high level, but who knows there. And Hanner can be great if he puts it all together consistently. We really don't need a 7 footer to post up, he clogs the lane.

Except on defense where we need some major clogging action in the lane.

True, but there will be some give and take. No doubt we need interior defensive help, but not to the point that it stalls our offense.
