IUBB vs. Eastern Washington Post Game Thread

Recommended Posts

Can't wait to go to work tomorrow and hear it from literally everyone. I'm breaking out my rainy day Jameson. Gonna get real dark in my apartment tonight. Gonna watch the UK game on YouTube and listen to The Cure

I feel your pain.

It's going to be open season on us Hoosier fans in Southern Indiana too----the UK and UL faithful will be gloating and understandably so!

I think crean has shown us what kind of coach he is. He has not won unless he has three good upperclassmen on the team. Hmp should be more improved then what he is. How could u not get better playing against Cody and Noah in practice. I'm just tired of getting excited about the talent on the team to be let down by terrible coaching and I'm sure he will blame it on the players like always. Man up and take responsibility.

I think he showed us what kind of coach he was in 2012.

Heads need to roll. Obviously Crean needs to go. The guys on the court need to learn how to play with desire. The crowd sucked too.

Yea i don't want to sound like Mike Davis bit out crowd is just not into this team. That's a hard thing for Crean to overcome. The honeymoon is over and we are nothing but a middle of the pack conference team, at best, with burger boys, for 2 years in a row

I just feel like this program is literally heading no where.

Because the man who gets paid a cool 3.2 mil a year is so terribly inept that he couldn't do the obvioius. Some may blame our leader on the floor as he also should know better, but there's no hiding how outclassed and overmatched Crean is here at Indiana. No amount of wondering why we have only been to two NCAA's in his tenure.

we ended both halves with coaching vacancies...

there should have been clear direction at the end of the 1st, being that nobody fouls...

and finding the 3point line at the end of regulation...

honestly...it couldn't have been drawn up any worse.

Troy Williams shut Blackmon down for the night when he was selfish and decided he wanted a highlight dunk. That pisses me off more than losing. Welcome back troy. I remember when u did the same thi g to Sheehey last year too. Way to start salting away our very unselfish offense that gets us killer looks from our strength THE 3's!!
On the flip side, thanks for playing hard.

Crean shut them all down by not giving them a chance to win it in the end. A good, not great coach gets the w tonight. The players need leadership that Creans lacks. I'm sure he's already said how great E Washington played and how they're a legit tournament team n his pressor. No way he takes any blame. "It is what it is."

Being as small and athletic as this team is you would think perimeter D would be a strength.

Outside or about seven Minutes in the first half with Stan And RoJo getting after it it was pitiful.Guards getting in the lane at will and then once there....,well you know the rest of the story.

The heat gets turned up yet another notch on Crean.

I will continue to support the team but I continue to be on the fence about Crean and say what I have said all year----he has this year to turn it around.  One loss does not ruin the possibilities for the season----but the questions and rumblings are certainly growing louder.  I still say he does not survive another mediocre season like last year----at least not with me.  Hope the boys circle the wagons and kick it into gear----I like many things Crean has done with the program---but he has to win consistently at IU. That's just the way it is at a major basketball school.
