Our three man weave or whatever you want to call it offense is not creating much. The three point defense was actually pretty good by the Hoosiers. Our paint defense leave much to be desired.

 

There’s not much reason to guard the back yard if the front door is open. Why was EWU even thinking 3 when the paint was open all night long?

You have to use timeouts appropriately. IU was up early in the game. Something like 14-3. The coach for E. Wash called a timeout to stop IU's momentum. Soon after, the score was 17 to 15 with IU only up by two points.

Well, folks, I am disgusted by what I saw tonight. Gonna lay low, stuff myself on turkey and spend the next couple of days in a tryptophan-induced coma.

 

Maybe when I wake up, this will all have been a bad dream. Or Crean will still be the coach of a bunch of kids who won’t/can't play defense.

Just got home from the game. I knew we were going to have a tough time rebounding this year so I am not as worked over that. However, the "defense" this year is an abomination. There is no excuse to be that bad defensively. None.
