I understand that McCarthy may not have the connections that some might have that have been in the business for decades but he was quick to follow the lead to choose vandy with little info and now has more info has yet to switch to IU has me confused. If he is right and he picks vandy then I will be the first to tip my cap but he is an Indiana insider and one of the only ones to still be choosing vandy. For his sake he better be right or he is going to lose all credibility as those in Carolina etc know more about an IU recruit then an IU insider. Wouldn't be good for his long term career

I tried searching "grimes" which was the original context I saw the word in, and then "grimey" which he also had on his twitter on urbandictionary and neither resulted in anything useful. I never actually thought to try just "grime"

McCarthy still hasn't flipped?  He's posting over there at 247 and it sure sounds like he has NO inside information---he made comments like he doesn't want to be one of those crystal ballers that switch back and forth several times---- so he is waiting till closer to the announcement to decide if he should flip.....Bogus---weak----it sure sounds to me like he will be flipping soon!

 

What's sad is he is SUPPOSED TO BE an Indiana insider---and instead he is acting like a pouty Purdue insider that can't believe he is once again wrong and IU will be picking up yet another new recruit!

I was poking around over there earlier and made a couple comments to see how he responded. I think he knows it's IU but is saving the suspense and excitement at this point. I also don't think he wanted to follow too close on the heels of Meyer. He is/was being pressured by several over there. I think if he flips the suspense is over if not,
the suspense stands at this point.
