Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Northwestern looks horrible tonight. Melo has 26 with 8 to play for MarylandSent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Does the 3 second violation exist anymore? Northwestern had 3 dudes literally camping in the lane for 7-8 seconds while one of them dribbled and pump faked repeatedly under the hoop. Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Duke better be thanking Jayson Tatum if he doesn't have the game that he had last night they probably don't end up winning. Quote

pappy1865 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 A. Dakich is an idiot. Plain and simple. edit for: The whole MSU thingy. B. I stayed up and watched the show "A Taste of Coaching." Steve Lavin hosts, and it had Gene Keady, Bo Ryan, Mike Davis, and Tim Miles. I found it rather interesting/enlightening listening to them talk and interact. Makes me look at Miles a little differently. Usually happens when I remember to watch "The Journey" as well. Find new respect for the opposing players and or coaches. C. Yay baseball! TheWatShot Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Wisconsin peaked in January. I think the Big Ten will come down to Maryland and Purdue. Quote
Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Sad that Maryland, MSU, Wisky, Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern and probably Michigan with a win tonight will all make it and not being one of them with SEVEN teams. This is worse than Creans first 3 years. We are actually supposed to be good yet 3rd to last in B1G.Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app LockdownD 1 Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Pretty good Wisconsin-Michigan game. Go Badgers! We don't want Purdue to have a chance of getting at least a share of the B1G Championship Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Second game in a row a Michigan player bounces the ball off his foot and out of bounds…and it stays with Michigan. Lol how do they do it? hsrtxp 1 Quote

I know they're playing without Koenig tonight, but they just haven't had a good performance in weeks. It all started when they shot like 20% against Rutgers and needed an epic choke by Rutgers to win. At least we got to share the Big Ten titles lead for a year... Quote

Yeah Purdue will probably win at least a share now since Wisconsin lost tonight. The Badgers haven't looked good ever since that Rutgers game. They even looked like crap against IU at home lol. That should tell you something right there Quote

In 4 games without their top scorer, NU won that game, and they were ass in the other three. Like I said earlier, the Badgers peaked in January. Quote

Nebraska, Northwestern, Indiana, Michigan and Rutgers games were just god awful games. They won three of those but damn they were ugly. I think the committee was right not having them as a top 4 seed in any region Quote
Uspshoosier Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 If u are bored with Oregon game. Middle Tennessee is on cbssports network. One of the best mid majors this year they will have a chance to win a game in the tournament if they make it Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Article about Caleb Swanigan's recruitment that talks about why he picked Purdue, and why he started off with MSU: http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2017/02/15/caleb-swanigan-purdue-boilermakers-player-year Basically, he wanted to go to California, but Barnes wouldn't let him. Barnes pushed Purdue because it gave him the best chance to play power forward instead of center. Swanigan had sworn off Purdue due to their continued lack of interest in him during his early high school years, and wanted to play at Cal because he knew a couple guys there. Barnes insisted he go to Purdue, so to compromise, Swanigan picked MSU. Barnes wouldn't give in, and Swanigan finally chose Purdue. I remember speculating on TOS at the time that it seemed odd a guy would drop MSU for Purdue, and wondered if Barnes had anything to do with it. Of course Boiler being Boiler, threw his usual hissy fit and said there was no way that could have happened. Looks like it did. Alford Bailey, hsrtxp and bnkepner 3 Quote
