Anyway...

Not to nitpick, because I do agree with the general sentiment of the whole thing, but it's like 50% false. JBJ does not have a torn ACL that we know of. Costello, Olah, and Happ did not score those points against Bryant, they scored those points in games Bryant also played in. You can't count every point each player scored against Bryant, he played 18, 23, and 28 minutes in those games and was not the only one to send those guys to the line. It's unfair to pretend the starters play only against their counterparts the entire game.

 

Not that anyone cares about this article anymore, that Maryland game. Wow.

Agree with most of everything you said but James Blackmon did indeed tear his ACL. 100% positive of that one.

I was thinking the same thing. They've really gone out of their way to keep the severity of his injury hush hush.

The article was written after speaking with head and assistant coaches in the B1G though right?  That's kind of low if the family is trying to keep it on the down low.  I guess if the information is out there it's not difficult to get though.

Michigan st might not win the big 10 but no shock to anyone here they are the best team in the conference and I don't think it is close. Valentine is also playing himself back into the player of the year conversation

Olah, I don't remember but that blurb is right. I like Bryant, but his lateral quickness, lack of hops, and youth makes for a weaker low post defender. His length is his saving grace. Clearly not all those points were scored against Bryant but he was/is our primary post defender and those players had field days.
