It’s a horrible job. Total meat grinder. Pretty certain the last HC with a winning record there was Joey Meyer pushing 30 years ago. Their facility’s something like a half hour from campus. No one goes. I’m confident their collective is for $hit. Been relegated to the 3rd tier kids in Chicago forever. But, it sits on 1 of the richest recruiting veins in the country and I’m sure there’s a ton of money if you can access it. And in fairness, they’ve hired bad coaches. Maybe a name like Hurley can generate some heat. I hope it’s not Schertz.

I mean at this point Scertz hasn’t even coached in the NIT.  What’s Indiana State’s best win?  Not saying he’s not a good coach but expecting him to get a quality power 5 job is premature.  DePaul level jobs are probably his level of step up unless he Indiana State we’re to win a couple in the tournament or he has another year or two of sustained success.
