If you want to know how bad the college basketball landscape is looking this year, Butler building a tourney resume.

That happens when you get big road wins.  @creighton and @marquette.  Also shows you that you can have success through the portal.    Matta pretty much replaced everyone from last year.   Also won lossy night without Alexander probably the best guard defender in the Big East

It's been an odd year. So many teams with Q3 and Q4 losses. Even teams that aren't on the bubble. Feel like the bubble is the biggest it's ever been.

Tourney quality teams in the middle and the end of the bracket will always have  Q3 losses.   Nothing really different from a normal year.  Every year the bubble is big

Something felt different about it this year. Like it happened more often. Maybe it didn't, but it sure seemed like it.

Last year Houston earned a 1 seed and lost a Q3 home game.   Kentucky had 2 Q3 losses and a Q4 loss.  Those losses happen at the top of the bracket as well

I ******* hate officials. Hate them. Drake with only 2 fouls called against them with under 2 to go in the half, but Sycamore players being pushed all over. ISU has 7 fouls. One of them an offensive foul on a moving screen. [emoji849]

Isu up 3 gives up an open 3 and fouls away but drake misses both. Tie ball game.

Then the big boy for isu hits a 3.  Leaves up 3

48 sec.

lets see if ISU stays in the zone…

This is a fun one. Never watched ISU ever, fun team. They are the real deal

Unpopular opinion. I catch a lot of ish being an IU fan as a graduate of indiana State. My late father and late mother got their masters from IU. I attended IUPUI for 2 years as an IU undergrad. My ex mother-in-law and father-in-law's best man was Ron Felling.

I hear the "everyone who lives in Terre Haute should be Sycamore fans. It's where you live. I disagree. I've worked in other states. Just because their job is there doesn't mean they root for the hometown team. Not their school. Just because they live in the city doesn't mean they have to support the local team.

Now, can it be fun to jump on board? Sure! But to be pressured to follow the local. Team, because you live there? Nah, man. Support your team.

Long rant. May or may not be Maker's Mark induced.

but, don't sleep on the Sycamores!
