Everyone makes bad evals sometimes, to be sure. Seems like Arch specialized in them. Surely everyone here would take Trey Galloway over Ethan Morton — a fine player, no knock — and/or Carter Whitt? I’m not sure to what extent those were contingent but Arch clearly wanted Morton badly, and IIRC Whitt was a priority for awhile too

Matt cross was a huge target for Archie as well.   Miami to Louisville to Umass

Yep, Miller was terrible at evaluating talent. He had a ton of bad evals on both the players he landed and others he missed on. Lots of players that ended up being mid major/sub-par high major talents that he recruited.

Terrific article by Borzello on what Amir Abdur-Rahim has done at Kennesaw St. Would love to see him just stay there and be Bob McKillop, but I’m sure he’ll get poached soon enough.

I would like to go back and look at that thread.  If I remember right (which i've slept since then) Whitt treated IU like we were an afterthought.  Miller wore clown shoes...
