McD’d All Americans announced. Sort of disheartening to see UNC sign four with a season they’re having this year. Kind of drives home the reality that we’ve definitely lost some of our luster as a blue blood. Blue bloods don’t seem to have an issue getting top recruits even when they’re dead last in their conference standings. I wonder, does UNC have room for four freshman if only Cole goes to the NBA, but Bacot stays? (Which in this one and done era, they have to be recruiting like more than one guy will go early)

Loaded class and it appears they need it. I do hate seeing the true blue bloods have so much recruiting success. I Love when the fail, but more often than not, they are successful.

They recruit well because their coaches are recruiters. At this point, I'm not convinced Archie Miller is a recruiter. He has time and opportunities to change my mind, however.

Liberty’s toughest game left in conference at North Florida. If they get through this game they could only have 1 loss(LSU) going into their conference tournament.

At some point coaches like ‘Ol Roy and Coach K will be seen as what they are by recruits: old whites guys. Because right now they are just getting good recruits based on reputation, and having good recruits is making them look like they are still great coaches. It’s self-fulfilling, but you can see this year with UNC, that it’s not like they are great coaches, with these amazing schemes and player development. They are just coaches at universities with reputations that happen to be coaching ten McD’d all-Americans every year. At some point, good X and O’s coach or not, the game will pass an 80-year old by in my opinion.

Wow. If it happens, would OSU be the only team you can ever remember being ranked #2 in the country at one point in the season to end up missing the NCAA tournament? Because 2-6 in conference with two home losses already is gonna be a tough hole to climb out of.

In the short history of the NCAA's NET ranking, O$U has started off ranked #1. Last year, they had to squeak by us in the B1G tourney to make the NCAA's, this year...who knows.
