Ace Baldwin over Smith 10/10 times too.

Might be the most underrrated player in the entire country. Will never get his due because Penn St is such an outpost, but he controls games like very few kids.

ISU ball movement on that last 3 was perfect.   They won’t win this game but they have improved tremendously from the first game blowout to FAU

Was worried about a “fun but bad” team. Now thinking that top 4 in the Valley isn’t too crazy. We’ll see how the young guys hold up when the grind sets in. Top half of the conference would be impressive alone.

Likely Painter’s to lose. Sister on PUke women’s team and another  committed to PUke.

From what I heard from the Harrison people, Painter wasn't real happy with his play/attitude in the game he attended there.  But Painter isn't the type of a coach who won't do his work and base his opinion on one performance.

FWIW, Michigan State offered in August and they have pulled some recruits away from Purdue despite coming in much later.....and with NIL involved, I could see them pulling him away.

Tough to do this, but I have to say something nice about Illinois.

Mike Hall -- the B1G announcer for today's game -- found out his wife has breast cancer. She starts chemo soon. She's an Illinois grad and a big fan, so before today's game, Brad Underwood gave him a team-autographed ball to present to her.

Here is where things get crazy right? I mean if all he did was say it would happen... What legal standing could they possibly have? If it isn't on paper in a contract, it's just a dumb promise.

Similar deal to Sluka at UNLV, but that story died pretty quickly. Not sure what anyone can do about an unpaid verbal promise/handshake agreement if that's all it is.

Isn't a verbal/handshake agreement a binding legal contract?

Indiana > Everybody (mostly-I’m exaggerating but not by much) in fulfilling NIL opportunities and promises and because of that will always have a seat at the recruiting table.

Once we get a respected system and coach, on court results just might change.

College sports are such a cesspool right now. Anyone who can get sued WILL get sued.

There's a reason professional sports don't operate this way.

Multiple reasons. Antitrust exemptions, player unionization which leads to CBAs, contracts are a few. Also, making the players employees makes a huge difference.
