The Simon Charles X account was the same one that reported Sean Miller to Ohio State.  It appears that it's not a reliable account.

I’m sure it’ll happen more with the transfer portal, but it’s still an amazing story. He basically comes out of nowhere to be one of the 2-3 best players in college basketball.

Former player at ODU. Was on the 1995 team that as a No. 14 seed, beat No. 3 Villanova in triple OT. 

Probably a relatively simple hire. Jeff Jones took most of the season off with health issues, then retired. Would've been easy for the AD to get a really early jump in his search.

Big game for Gonzaga tonight -- seem to be squarely on the bubble right now and are at San Francisco tonight.  Gonzaga currently only has one quad 1 win and the game at San Francisco is a quad one.  The game after this is at St. Mary's, so back-to-back quad one opportunities both on the road.  Get swept and have to think they would need to win the WCC tournament to make it.

South Florida could go into Selection Sunday in the Top 25, and not make the tourney. Last time I remember that happening was I think 2014 when SMU was left out. Many bracketologist had the AAC about 2 seed lines too high for every team. That included SMU.
