Not worried about any of that. Kid deserves the shot. Could Woody help him? Probably. Considering we left a scholly open for this season, I see no problem going after a kid like that with some upside. We need some confident and athletic guards. Oddly enough, we could use a Devante Green. Never thought I'd say that.

I guess I should have prefaced it with "allegedly", but to me it has legs since I was first made aware by comments made under articles on ESPN.com back when they were allowed, and then brought up by anonymous message board posters who were VU fans on Rivals at separate times.

1) his off court stuff is bad

Well I am sure he is better than Cupps is right now offensively. And I'm not sure what all happened with him, other than him having a gun(which I don't care about). So I'd say he deserves a second chance without any judgment.

Did we talk about Howard just deciding not to be the head coach on Sunday, and "honor" Martelli by letting him be the head coach in his return to philly...Howard was in the building, but not actively coaching either. 

One of the most bizarre moves I have seen in a long time...and THEY LOST! Your team has lost 8 of the last 10 and you just say...nah I'm not coaching today. 

I know he has been recovering, but he resumed coaching in December, so this decision wasn't related to that.
