Perfect storm this year in that he was able to get pieces for his team that fit his system that were undervalued by other schools.  Also helps to have 8 contributing players that are in their fourth or fifth year.

So the guy is (probably) on probation so he can't leave the city/county...but its not bad enough that he can still be on the team AND be active.

House arrest is much more restrictive. With probation, you have some ability to move around the locale that shortened your sentence or let you avoid prison. These days, they may make you wear some GPS device on you depending on the severity of the crime in lieu of a probation officer checking in all the time.
