Kansas st survives.   Always hate OT for the mid majors at high major arenas.  Most of the time can’t catch a break and they got a bad whistle in that OT

I view Sheppard as a 2023 updated clone of Alford.  Greater shooter and consummate team player.  He might be a tad more athletic than Alford was.

none of those years after Cheaney graduated went very well. Cheaney leaving really was the end to the greatness.

There was a final four after that, but I get what you're saying. It was kind of the end of the year in-year out greatness.

^^ There was a finals after tha! Maybe not greatness, but taking down those Doook and Okla (under Sampson in the FF) teams was a blast, and if Coverdale had been fully healthy in that final we may have pulled it out.

And despite a mediocre regular season, that was a hell of a team, Coverdale, Jeffries, AJ Moye, Newton, Fife, Hornsby, Leach, Odle

I was in Rupp Arena for the Duke game.  And then again for the Akron game.

Speaking of great atmospheres, Bud Walton Arena tonight will be insane with Duke coming in. Really looking forward to that game.

UNC is doing to Tennessee what we do to UNC when they come into Assembly.

Louisville down 5 at home to Bellarmine.  While they are improved from last year they are still not very good which is unfortunate for IU.   Would have liked to see them looking better after their play in New York.   Long way to go in the season but not lookIng like that win will help IU in anyway other then being a win away from home

St Joes wins at Nova.   They have some tough guards.    They also took Kentucky to OT in Rupp this year
