Lots of allegations some you probably need to take with a grain of salt as is the case with most lawsuits of this nature. http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2016/11/15/johnnie-vasser-files-antitrust-lawsuit-against-northwestern-ncaa-over-transfer-rules/ Chris Collins regularly told Vassar he "sucked at basketball" in hopes that it would motivate the kid to transfer. He's got nothing on this guy! ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Am I the only one who just isn't that impressed with Haas? I think Purdue has a good team don't get me wrong, but Haas has the benefit of just being bigger than everyone else. He doesn't have any moves down low except turn one way and throw up a shot off the glass or he just lays it in. That makes him a good college player by default, but in the NBA he'll be eaten alive by all the athletic 5sThese are my thoughts as well. He's huge! That allows him to get good position and finish around the rim. However, against a player with good size and skill he's outmatched. Can he even think about defending Bryant? Nope, I can see quick early fouls at AH when Bryant catches at the arc and Haas is in big man defensive purgatory. On the other end as long as Bryant can keep him from catching in the lane hell struggle to score. For smaller teams running a second defender at him throws him off as he's not quick enough, decision making or physically, to get the ball out. Hell really struggle with all the athletes at the next level. Crimson and Cream 1 Quote

He'll struggle against teams that have actual centers, plus he's a major liability when taken away from the basket. VO5 1 Quote

But he's very, very good at certain things. He has learned to push hard for interior position, and when he does, it's a foul or a basket almost every time. That can be very effective against good teams with smaller or inexperienced bigs. He drove Nova nuts in the second half last night. MSU and UM don't have an answer for him either. We are lucky; TB and DD both have better bulk to deal with him that almost any other team. Nothing would make me happier than to see Ivan Drago body slam UK's freshman bigs in an NCAA tourney game. It's their only other chance in the noncon to have a signature win. After that they have some decent opponents in Notre Dame, Arizona State, and possibly Texas Tech. I believe they have a better "middle" of their noncon schedule but lack the number of top end opponents that IU has. Top noncon opponents IU - KU pu - Nova IU - UL pu - UL IU - UNC pu - ND IU - Butler pu - Arizona State CR3AMnCR1MS0N 1 Quote

Can't wait to spend New Years Eve rooting on our Hoosiers I know multiple people mentioned in this thread that they had purchased their tickets for the UofL game on NYE. Has anybody received their tickets or any info about them? We haven't recevied ours (purchased from the UofL allotment) but heard from some people who purchased from the IU allotment that they are being given refunds because they purchased lower bowl tickets and no lower bowl seats are available. Apparently UofL got more of the allotment because they put them on sale first or something? Quote
