Yeah I guess losing 3 in a row, 2 at home with one of them being Nebraska has no bearing. Or having no impressive wins just like Indiana but already having 2 b1g losses means that they are better than Indiana. Sigh. All Indiana can do is keep winning and prove these so called "experts" wrong.

In what world is beating Kansas on a neutral court not an impressive win? Or beating Providence, or beating Louisville? Seriously, I'm starting to be convinced that some of you guys don't think any team has a single quality win, unless they're wearing crimson and  cream.

Well, no he couldn't have been. 3 straight losses, Maryland hasn't lost more than 1 in a row as of right now. And a lost to Nebraska, who they haven't lost to, and losing twice at home, which again Maryland hasn't done

I was talking about marylands schedule... And if you have seen mich st play recently they are not impressive. It's the Denzel Valentine show and he takes a lot of bad shots.

Eh, just went back through the comments, realize my mistake. My bad

Love seeing posters being big enough people to admit when they misread or were wrong.  It makes Btown Banners that much more enjoyable.

It has always been a pet peeve of mine when they rank a team higher than a team that just got done beating them.

I could understand if it was a team that got hot and hit a record amount of 3's or someone had a star player foul out, but that was a good game and teams have been fairly similar all year long.

Michigan State wins head to head and still ranked ranked lower.

I agree with this to an extent.  I was saying earlier that if OU were ranked above KU after their 3 (?) OT game at Allen Fieldhouse I wouldn't be upset.  Maryland is ranked higher than MSU because the game was played at the Breslin Center and it was a close game.  That still doesn't change my mind about Maryland.  I feel MSU could win @Maryland but didn't think Maryland could win at MSU.

Whole heartedly agree with that OU/KU statement. I remember I think Shulman? saying the loser of that game would drop and I thought to myself Why? It took 3 OT's and the home team won. Keeping them 1/2 which is what I think happened at the time was absolutely the right thing to do.

Back in my gambling days I knew exactly what home court was worth as far as point spread. I believe it is was around 4.5 at the NCAA level?

I think schools like IU/Kansas/Duke would be a little higher, but in general I think that was the number.
