LIHoosier Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Wow---but did you see his competition? Baylor beat Huston-Tillotson 81--61. Gathers with 25 points and 28 rebounds. Fields with HT had 27 points. Who is Huston--Tillotson??? Turns out the game was originally scheduled to be used as footage for a movie, which was bunked before the game took place. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/baylor-s-game-against-an-naia-team-was-supposed-to-be-part-of-a-movie-033918398.html WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

bnkepner Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 . I do! If they can get him to be productive, it's a recruiting pitch against IU, that's all. Another 'Little Brother " game. Its already backfired against them. Seems he's played worse for them than he did last year here at IU WayneFleekHoosier, HoosierHoops1, Napleshoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 That goaltending no call ended up being huge in the O$U vs. NW game. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Ranger78 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I kinda of like watching Butler and want them to do well, but every time I hear "the butler way" I want to throw up... What the hell is the Butler way -->> loosing the big games in a competitive manner? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Alabaster Thunder, Hovadipo, bnkepner and 1 other 4 Quote
LazOffTheBench Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I like Butler but I'm sick to death of their commercial about how special, blah, blah, blah, they are. bnkepner and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Tonight's games- ND @ VT- upset special for me. 85-60 missed slightly Xavier @ Providence- tough call-Xavier. 66-69 OT O$U @ NW- O$U gets it done. Wouldn't be shocked with NW though. 69-67 NCST @ Miami - another tough one. I'll go Miami. 60-65 GT @ Virginia- virginia stays unbeaten. 28-57. Lol Alabama @ Arkansas - Arkansas wins due to Home. 91-93 OT Arizona @ Stanford - May be very close. Have to go Arizona though. 89-82 Maryland @ Indiana - of course it's IU. 70-89 St. Marys @ Gonzaga- Zags always be Mary's. 47-68 N. Colorado @ EWU- EWU all the way to the round of 32. Haha. 85-958-2. Upset special, not so special lol. IU was incredible! Zags are incredible. Wish O$U would have lost. UCLA lost again. Washington got a decent road win. And EWU to round of 32 marches on. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Venky Jois not in box score for EWU. Not sure what happened. Harvey dropped 35 though. Hutch89 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Virginia held Ga Tech to 28 pts. Won by 29. Wow---Virginia can play the D. It's not like Georgia Tech is some cupcake. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Not sure the "record" should count against an naia team Sad---I didn't realize HT was an NAIA team! So impressive----Baylor! Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Final----OSU holds on 69 to 67 over Northwestern. All the buzz was about Russell's 33 point--7 reb---6asst---game for OSU. I would love to go into Columbus and give the Buckeyes--Blackeyes---in the form of an IU win and a Bucky loss. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Notre Dame continues to impress. The 8th ranked Irish beat terrible Va. Tech----85-60. It would be a fun game to watch IU and ND play this year---maybe we will see it in the tourney. bnkepner 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 #2 Virginia over Georgia Tech-----57--28. We discussed this earlier-----impressive feat to hold a power conference team down that low. Virginia is for real---but their offense is not that impressive to me---I predict they will get their first loss soon. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 The Zags continue to feast on weak west coast competition. #3 Gonzaga beat St. Mary's tonight 68--47. St. Mary's is the 2nd best team in the Zags' league---so Gonzaga probably won't lose again until the tournament. Their lack of competiton will hurt them----as good as they are---I see them knocked out about sweet 16. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 #7 Arizona beat Stanford 89--82. DePaul with the upset-----beat #24 Seton Hall 64-60. DePaul's first win over a ranked team in years---but as we have discussed on here previously---I think Seton Hall is overrated and should not have been ranked to begin with. Sorry to burst your bubble---DePaul. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
