After beating SLU, Rhode Island has dropped two in a row including getting spanked by St. Bonaventure this evening 94-76. Gotta hand it to him, Archie knows how to get paid. On dollars per conference win basis I don’t think anybody has had the level of sustained success (or optimization, rather) as him…33-44 in the B1G and now 24-45 in the A10

He’s not much better against the spread, if one were inclined to be interested in that sort of thing :)

But, but, but, he took Dayton to the Elite 8! And he's Sean Miller's brother! And...well, that's kind of it, I guess.

On the bright side, the lack of winning is probably making it easier for Chris to avoid beer.

One of my all time favorite CBB tweets

I've seen that before but somehow never fully unpacked it beyond the surface absurdity.  If he was drinking "on the verge of a big win", does that mean the beer was disguised in the gatorade bottles?  What other ways did he find to consume it while still on the court?

I think he probably got hammered after he went home, and saying it was tough "on the verge of a big win" meant he was craving it as the game neared the end but knew he wouldn't get to drink.

In any event, glad we're not dealing with this. IU basketball creates enough problems on its own.
