Too early to say either way but yeah they look awful at times.  I will be interested to see how it goes for him without Stirtz to save the day.    The narrative that Iowa had it figured out in year 1 was definitely premature.   Their whole tourney resume depends on IU being good. As of today that’s their best win of the year.  Still got this half to change that and will have opportunities after this game

Win or lose it’s just horrible basketball. Imagine hiring this guy after Archie/Woodson.

MWC after dark always delivers

Always been a big east guy on top of the obvious big ten games but man that was fun.

I feel like you or someone else mentioned a guy that does the MWC color commentary who is hilarious…and I’m almost positive this was the guy last night (didn’t catch his name), but it was hilarious

Could of been usps talking about the guy in the big sky conference. He is definitely a hoot.

Interesting interview.

I don't really care for either person, but Goodman's trying to be all buddy-buddy and Smith's kinda blowing him off. Made me chuckle a little. (BTW -- what's with those glasses?)

1. Smith clearly kinda hates Goodman.

2. Goodman could post up that midget.

It’s the Big Sky conference that guy does.    He is awesome.  During champ week make sure you stay up for the Big Sky conference tourney to listen to him.  Hopefully he is still doing them

McCollum has had a good first season, we will see in the long run.

That’s still debatable though if he has had a first good season just yet.   He has yet to beat a top tier team at home or on the road.    No AP top 25 wins just yet.   Yeah he did beat IU on the road but IU is a projected 9 seed at the moment and his other tourney quality wins are home wins over UCLA and USC 2 teams projected lower than IU. Most have those teams  in the Last 4 in or last 4 byes which is squarely on the bubble.   Non con Sos 259 and overall of 68.   They are trending down with a tough schedule to play.  They could easily play themselves out of the tourney.   They have definitely played themselves to being close to bent on the bubble.

My thing we Iowa was people were using McCollum and Iowa’s season as a point to show how IU and DeVries should of been doing it in year 1 and you could argue that IU has had the better season despite losing to them at home.   Luckily for Iowa they have 6 games left to get it turned back around
