I haven't chimed in much but have been reading everything.  Not to pile on but...

 

How old is Coach Crews?  How many more years does he have coaching?  Is it possible we might get a Larry Brown kind of deal with Coach Crews comes to save the day in Btown with the B1G all time leading scorer waiting in the wings?  Could Coach Crews be called upon to be a filler between the current and the wonderboy...

Was wondering the same thing. He's 60 years old and not getting any younger.

Not sure if he would be game.  I believe many would back it in hopes either coach Cheaney would take over or coach Stevens would tire of the NBA.  I do know we have been absolutely horrible in having something lined up.  Time to start that and get it right this time.

Unfortunately, as I have said before....All of these problems just gave opposing coaches more ammunition when recruiting against Crean....as if they didn't have enough just showing endless video loops of the terrible substitutions...

If I were a recruit I would laugh at a coach if his main negative pitch was sub patterns. The offense will suffice.

Laugh it up, slappy.....Recruits with NBA aspirations will definitely pay attention to a coaches substitution patterns....

Thats why the latest recruits we've gotten have all said they committed to IU because of player development and Crean getting players to the next level. So, you're wrong.
