It's funny- I spend so much time obsessing and analyzing IU stuff that I sometimes miss just enjoying watching the games. I'm reminded by this today watching families having fun, talking, etc. I mentioned to someone in line that Bryant wasn't coming (I was a little upset). He kind of shrugged and said "oh well, can't get upset by things out of your control. I'm happy to have a team that I can be proud of and that represents IU well". Most people here don't know (or care) about the "agony" of recruiting/training that we do, and honestly, it's kind of refreshing :) granted, I don't plan on diminishing the rabidity of my fandom, but it's nice.
