OG lost his starting spot to Leonard but he's been making real solid contributions coming off the bench.  3rd game in a row he's scored in double digits.

He better watch it or he will be getting shipped out. I don’t think GS would think twice on who to keep. They can find another guy that can play defense and shoot 24% from 3 and give up 3 turnovers a game.

There is no chance they’d ship him out for KD. Durant won’t even be on the team next year, while Green has been the backbone of that team for years.

If they want to win titles, they can risk Green for Durant. Green is much more replaceable.

They won with Green and no Durant already. Losing Durant over Green wouldn’t hurt that team much if at all. They’d just go back to the same team with a stronger bench and win a title like they did before Durant. Durant needs Golden State, Golden State doesn’t need Durant.

Wizards assign Thomas Bryant to Go-Go

WASHINGTON, DC – The Washington Wizards announced today that they have assigned Thomas Bryant to the Capital City Go-Go, the team’s NBA G League affiliate. Bryant will travel with Capital City to Wisconsin for its game against the Herd on Friday.

Bryant was acquired via waiver claim in July after spending last season with the Los Angeles Lakers and South Bay Lakers. Bryant has appeared in four games this season with the Wizards, averaging 3.3 points per game. The Indiana product averaged 19.7 points and 7.4 rebounds while shooting 59.5 percent from the field in 37 games with South Bay last season.

Bryant was a standout on the Wizards’ Summer League team in 2018, spending time with current Go-Go players Chris Chiozza, Tiwian Kendley and Devin Robinson. Bryant led the team in rebounds per game with 7.4 and averaged 14.6 points per game, good for third on the team in scoring.

Rough shooting night for Vic but the Pacers still won.  Discovered yesterday that Josh Newkirk is on the G-League roster of the Texas Legends.  Who da thunk it?

OG was out with a wrist injury and is considered day-to-day.  And per my previous post, Vic has a knee problem and his return is uncertain.

The Wizards recalled Thomas from G-League.  His experience with the Wizards may end up mirroring that of his tenure with the Lakers, i.e., bounce back and forth between the 2 leagues.

Wizards have made literally everyone on the team available. Pacers could swoop in for Porter at best probably. They’d be asking for way more than Wall is worth.

I wouldn't touch that Porter contract with a ten foot pole.

Plenty of those contracts in the NBA. Most I’d give the Wizards is Collison, Joseph, Leaf and a 2nd round pick for Wall. Then trade Wall in the off-season for a top 5 pick. Get Romeo. BOOM. Pacers gain thousands of more IU fans.

No one is trading a top 5 pick for John Wall. He has a brutal contract extension that hasn't even started yet. It will rival Andrew Wiggins for worst contract in the league.

Sounds a little odd don't you think?

David Aldridge   @davidaldridgedc

At the direction of his attorney, Raymond Brothers, @MarkelleF is scheduled to see a shoulder specialist early next week. Per Brothers, Fultz will not participate in team practices or games until after the the specialist has had a chance to evaluate him.

Bryant got a start because Dwight Howard is day-to-day with back issues but then only played 19 minutes.
