Lol.

 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not objective on LeBron so I won't try to pretend otherwise. I think, for a lot of people, the reason they have such strong opinions on him going to Miami is the way he did it. The Decision was dumb, the concert/introduction/not one not two thing they did was also pretty dumb. If he had just announced his move like any other free agent does people would've felt differently, or at least not as strongly.

Holy crap people actually trying to shame KD for wanting to play on the Warriors? Dude wants to win. No shame there.

The guy took a pay cut to be there. The entire purpose of their job is to win championships. Looks like he made a pretty smart move.

Plus, who the hell wants to spend their careers in cities like OKC and Cleveland?

Warriors rout the Rockets 115-86 to force a Game 7.  EG with 19 pts. on 7-12 from the field; 4-6 on 3's; 1-4 FT's.  Rockets shot 40% from the floor and 38.5% on 3's.  Warriors 49% from the field and 42% on 3's.  Rockets had to play without Chris Paul who injured a hamstring in game 5.  Will he be able to play in game 7 and, if he plays, how effective will he be?  Game 7 Monday night at 9:00 ET in Houston.

Yes? It's incredibly soft. His team literally doesn't even need him. He gets to go 6-17 in elimination games and be carried by Curry and Thompson. He took the easiest path possible. He doesn't just want to win, he wants to not have to compete.

^this. He went to the Finals in OKC and the year before he left OKC had GS down 3-1 in the WCF only to choke it away. This wasn't just about winning. It was about doing it the easy/cheap way. That guy is soft as a pillow. If Houston beats them in game 7 he'll probably try to go there in FA.

Both Lebron and Durant left the organizations that drafted them to go to the team they most thought could help them win a championship.

Essentially the same thing. If you are gonna criticize one criticize them both

Edit

Now what Paul George did on the other hand was just a punk move made by a man child and there is no end to the flack that he deserves. Regardless of how you feel about KD and Lebron

You're completely ignoring most of the facts in an attempt of equating two different situations. If LeBron loses tonight and signs with Boston next month then we can start comparing the two.

The comment about Paul George sounds like sour grapes. His decision to ask out benefitted your team a bunch. Why be mad at him for helping you?

They went to the team that afforded them the best chance to win.

You literally have got to get Lebron off this pedastal. And look at him ovjectively.

Let's look at the teams they went to.

Golden State - 73 wins (most in NBA history). Won the championship the previous year. Beat Durant in the WCF weeks before he signed with them (after he went up 3-1).

Miami - 47 wins. Lost in the first round the previous year. Lost in the first round weeks before LeBron signed with them. Never faced LeBron in the playoffs.

Where exactly are the parallels? Everything I stated above is a fact. It has nothing to do with me "having LeBron on a pedestal". I gave the facts without interjecting any opinion. Now tell me how the situations are comparable, or, as you said, "essentially the same thing" using facts.

You must not have watched the rest of the series or noticed that he helped the Warriors remain one of the best teams in the league even with Curry out during the regular season.

Who cares what path he took, he’s a champion. How can you say he doesn’t want to compete? What an asinine assumption about one of the top 20 players in his sport.

It’s unreal listening to keyboard warriors call a guy who has worked his entire career to reach the pinnacle of his respective career “soft” for making a great decision for his career.

You ignored the fact the 47 win Heat were also adding a 20+ PER player in Bosh and that Lebron stayed in the JV conference.

You literally have a problem man. If Lebron knew you existed hed probably have a restraining order.

Lol, you keep coming back with this argument. The dude competes, he tore apart Cleveland last year in the Finals, but I guess he wasn't competing then, he has been unstoppable when they need him to be, but I guess he wasn't competing then.

Also, lol carried by Curry and Thompson? Man, you really hate Durant.

So when LeBron bolts from Cleveland again this summer because the front office sucks at putting the right talent around him what is the argument? That is gonna be 3 times of him bolting from a franchise

It's pretty easy to score when you get to iso one on one all game because you've got the two greatest shooters in NBA history spotting up in the corners.

Durant is the second best player in the NBA and an unstoppable scorer. That's why it's so weak for him to join up with the 3rd best player in the NBA right after he got beat by them.

Once again Brass Cannon adds nothing to a conversation.

Really?? You just completely leave out teaming up with Wade and Bosh. Both left their title contending teams to join up with superstar filled teams to breeze through. It's a very easy comparison. The PG situation is no different except for the fact that instead of leaving in FA he demanded a trade. All 3 situations are guys unwilling to work for their rings and wanting to create superteams because they couldn't do it the previous year. It's lame and in many fans' eyes (mine included) it hurts their legacy.

It's not even remotely comparable, but people are going to believe what they want to believe so there's no point in arguing about it. I'm out.
