Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 No, I don't enjoy watching a team with an All-Star starting 5 pummel everyone else every year. I loved watching GS back when they were building it the right way with Steph/Klay/Green/Barnes. Once KD came it ruined it for me. Then Cousins hopped on board. It's pathetic. Why should I be impressed? I don’t think it’s pathetic. These guys are having the time of their lives. GS still built it the right way through good drafts and great front office management of their player signings. The Boogie signing is a fluke because he was injured and knew AD was leaving. He’s going to get a huge contract elsewhere next year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Alford Bailey 1 Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Not really a thing anymore. It used to be. Now there's still a handful left. Guys like Dirk, Dame, Russ, and Giannis. All of whom are my favorite non-Pacers. It used to be, until guys realized there’s no loyalty on the other side either. It’s like any of us scrubs changing jobs. Some people find the right situation for them and ride it out, others have to go find it. End of the day, I love watching the Warriors. It’s unreal team basketball. They’ve created an amazing roster with superstars but also guys like Green who know their role and play it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Alford Bailey and KingPG21 2 Quote

KingPG21 Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Speaking of Myles. I saw some stat out there that had him rated as the 20th best defender in the league this year. Lol. There is maybe one other center in the NBA right now who is doing what he is doing defensively. Watch other teams play, then watch them play the Pacers. Players don't go after Myles because his defensive positioning is so much better than it used to be. Guy shuts done one side of the court by himself, which is insane HoosierAloha 1 Quote

KingPG21 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Rumors are out there that Pacers are open to trading Holiday. I hate it with a passion. Young cheap players with good upside are hard to come by. Also screw Conley. A past his prime, injury prone point guard isn't worth any of our young pieces (Holiday, Damo, or Turner) Quote
BGVille Hoosierfan Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 I would be shocked if the Pacers moved Holiday...trading away young talent with major upside for an injury prone/high contract player in Conley is not worth jeopardizing the future of the team.
