I’d like an explanation for the end of that game with a rule that wasn’t just made up on the spot. How do we go from jump ball, to 1 shot and a jump ball, to 2 shots? If anything it should have stayed a jump ball. To my knowledge they never called a flagrant or tech, so how can that turn into a regular foul after review?

It was called a jump ball. And somehow it was reversed. NBA isn’t having LeQueen lose in the first round

They called it a foul first. Then they reviewed it and saw Lance take him down WWE style. The "NBA" didn't make Oladipo shoot 5-20 tonight.

A foul takes precedence over a jump ball? What the hell does that mean?

I'm more pissed that he actually came on and said the headlock came before Lance had his hands on the ball.

Nope. Both hands on the ball then the head lock happened. Refs screwed up, how about LeBron getting the timeout when he clearly got tied up by Turner. Gotta love having the refs in your back pocket

I mean, he's got his arm wrapped around Jeff Green's neck and then takes him down.

Lance didn’t do anything wrong. Yeah as PG said, LeQueen getting a timeout without possession of the ball. Absolutely atrocious

Nice job taking screen grabs of what you want it to show.

Here's the full video. Even when Lance has his hands on the ball he's wrapping up Green's arms. Anyway, hard fought game by both teams. I'm excited for game 5.

As a Pacers fan and a LeBron fan, that was a foul by Lance. Refs should have got it right in the first place.

Pacers really let a golden opportunity slip away tonight.

It was called a foul on Lance by both refs when it happened, which was obviously the correct call. Somehow Webber and Marv missed that and said it was a jump ball (refs never made that signal), and confused the hell out of everyone. The review was for a potential tech, but nothing ended up being called.
