Not sure the Lakers do better than Randle in this draft.

I'd consider Dragan Bender, Domantas Sobonis, Jakob Poeltl, Henry Ellenson, Skal Labissiere or Marquese Chriss to be better options. Labissiere and Chriss are high risk - high reward guys.

And I'm not just "hating" on him because he went to UK. I don't care where players in the NBA went. Because I really like Karl Anthony-Towns and Devin Booker. But I don't think Randle has the potential you believe he has. When he was in HS you could believe he'd be a star in the NBA. But college proved otherwise as he struggles against long, athletic bigs.. and at the 4/5 spot... that's what you're playing against nowadays.

He didn't struggle that badly.. I mean he averaged a double double for Christ sakes. 15th overall in double doubles as a rookie? That's damn good. I don't think we will trade Randle. Hell, we turned down Randle - Clarkson and our Pick for Cousins last summer. Defense and Shooting can develop. His ability to get to the Rim is pretty good. I like his future, he just has some work to do as most rookies do. One thing that he has that most players don't have is the mental toughness.

He could have already hit his ceiling , we won't know that for another two or three years. I'm excited to see our young core play in a system that's not from the dinosaur days (Byron Scott Princeton Offense)

I just think they could do better. Unless he learns that he'll never be a top option on the team and learns how to pass. Walton will be wanting a Draymond Green... Randle is almost the opposite.

Honestly there's no one besides Ben and Brandon that impress me. A lot of role players which is okay yes, but not worth trading a pick for. Of course Thon Maker, Gary Payton II, Dunn will be interesting prospects

Leonard bulldozes Thunder defender no charge. Thunder picked up several questionable charges in first quarter. Timmy puts two hands into KD for a "pick" with no call. Hahaha

I really want to enjoy the playoffs but they make it so difficult. I used to live the NBA when I was younger now struggle to enjoy it.

I'll make a deal with the NBA Gods , Celtics can have first pick , Lakers can have second. Or the other way around.

And then you have the last play of the OKC-SA game. Full street ball or nah? Why have refs when their nads are so far up there they can't make a correct call? When in doubt "miss" about 10 calls on the final play so it shows your incompetence.

Bird should take a long look in the mirror and at the roster HE constructed instead of blaming Frank.

Yeah I've felt this way about Bird for two years now. He's been way more miss than hit in free agency, he hit on West and....... uh. The risks he has taken in free agency, Lawson and Bynum, never really panned out. Trades he has been more miss than hit, Hill-Leonard being the obvious example, though this one is a bit over blown.  The only trade he really "won" was the Ian one. In his defense he has been more hit than miss in the draft, but he has had a bad dud or two, Hansbrough over both Holiday and Lawson.

We signed Pritchard to take over eventually, or at least that was the narrative at the time. I guess I want to see what he can do if anything.

Seems like that would be a fit and make sense. Daryl Morey was the Cheif Information Officer for the Celtics when the current ownership group took over in 2002 and Vogel was an assistant there.

Exactly. Although, Rockets are a lost cause right now. With Dwight leaving this summer and them building around Harden, it's not a very attractive job IMO.
