And for bettors these are better than the sports books since they don’t cap and boot people who consistently win. But why do this? It really doesn’t move the needle much revenue wise. It creates conflict with the league. And almost everyone who signs up will lose money. It’s a trashy move they didn’t need to do. Quote

BtownStrength Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Damn, I have a ticket to tonight's game. Will be less exciting without Hali out there. Quote
Pagoda Posted October 28 Posted October 28 :-( It was a helluva run. Best sports studio show ever. Hollywood Mike Miranda, Home Jersey and OliviaPope40 3 Quote

Demo Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Ernie Johnson is 1 of the greats. Talk about 1 of those jobs where you don’t want to be the next guy? This is one of those. Then you factor in that he is one of the best guys ever and I will straight up miss the dude. BtownStrength 1 Quote

Pagoda Posted Monday at 01:33 PM Posted Monday at 01:33 PM Maybe there is hope for pro hoops. This year offensive fouls are up 60% and illegal screens are up 50%. Some tightening on travels too (but not enough!). Of course the refs have to keep this up and not revert to the old enforcement levels. If they could keep this up and make it fair for defenders, AND remember a cornerstone of the game is if the player is moving they're supposed to be dribbling... that would be great. NBA players are incredibly skilled and I think playing the game properly would better showcase them. Also, Ben has the best NBA analysis. Quote
LIHoosier Posted Monday at 02:37 PM Posted Monday at 02:37 PM Yeah, I'll equate it to the 'points of emphasis' that every sport seems to do now in the opening month of the year. By Christmas, Harden will be stepping back from the free throw line to the 3 point line with nary a whistle. Quote
