(2017) SF Jordan Tucker- OV 11/30/16

Well if you believe in trends.. has there been a redshirt that has used his fifth year? (Mo Creek transferred, Matt Roth graduated x2)

I feel like Crean has a different relationship with Hartman, but that's entirely subjective.

He is supposed to announce next week. Kid seems to want to be "the" guy which GT would offer that. Could see the Duke & FSU wins making him believe their closer than they actually are. Who knows but I dont think they jump in in one week and get him. Maybe a lower rated kid but not a top 40. I think he goes to Oregon though. I'd like it to be us but we shall see.

I still think iu is the leader. From all the recruiting podcasts I listen to they all say he really likes crean and the North Carolina game left an impression. He could of just gone to Georgia tech because a top 6 team was in town. Who really knows

I honestly completely forgot he was in that area. I had a brain fart. No doubt it is probably considered an unofficial, but not as much to it as I thought at first. I still think if an Oregon trip is scheduled he is gone, but I wouldn't count out Nova yet either. Feb 3rd is the date is that correct?

From the way recruiting has gone this year, I can already tell I'm gonna sit here and watch 247's crystal ball shift dramatically the final 24 hours.  I'm sure he sees OG getting pushed to the 2018 draft and is like, "nope" going elsewhere.

Can't argue about your recruiting comment [ it's spot on ] . I think OG is likely to still be going to the draft this year . If OG actually stays another year I think most IU fans will consider it a great trade off .

Oh I'm with ya!  Issue I see is Tucker can't wait around to find out what OG does.  Therefore my gut says he picks a "safe" place to go.

Seems like Tucker could wait 'til the spring if he was worried about OG / he may just want to get the recruiting thing over with . I'm guessing that OG has told Crean his intentions for next year [ even with the uncertainty of the injury effect on his draft position ] . Seems like Crean gets pretty good info from the scouts and NBA people to pass on to OG and likely knows that OG will still be a high draft pick . IU is apparently expecting some turnover this spring [ judging by our continued recruiting with our scholarship situation]. Pap likely has more/better insight .

Exactly!  Don't care about winning.  Me me me!  I mean ultimately I understand looking out for yourself but it's still a team game and I prefer players that also care about playing for the name on the jersey.  Just me.

They are going through the process to find the best spot for themselves to get them to their ultimate goals. I don't get what people want out of recruits sometimes.

I want to pick the players I want and for them to commit when I want them! Fantasy college basketball of sorts. (I guess I'll get the reply to go be a puke fan now. Spending doesn't matter! Do you think puke had to pay the luxury tax this season too)
